Initial Consultation
Your dentist will first assess and analyse your tooth and then take some pictures to ensure that you need a root canal treatment. If cavities or other infections are present, they will suggest treatment accordingly.
Anesthesia and Preparation
Local anesthesia will be given to you before the tooth root canal. This confirms that the area is insensitive now, and you do not feel any pain during the process.
Removing the Infection
The dentist will drill a hole through the tooth to get to the root of the infected pulp. The tooth's interior is cleared to make sure that there are no bacteria on it.
Filling and Sealing
To seal the space, the cleaning techniques are followed by filling with a particular material. A provisional material is shaped and cemented to serve as a protective barrier until the definitive type of restoration, such as a crown, is inserted.
